Cassandra Marsillo

History Advisor
Cassandra Marsillo is the History Advisor at MotM. She is a teacher and public historian based in Tio'tia:ke (Montreal) telling and listening to stories about immigration, identity, collective memory, food, and folklore, particularly in relation to the Italian-Canadian experience. Her involvement in her local Italian community led to her work for MotM, as she sought ways to bridge her historical interests and skills with contemporary issues. She can often be found juggling her many projects over a cup of coffee, with her cat by her side.
