Susanne Rinner is Academic Outreach Advisor and a German Translator for MotM, as well as a teacher, scholar, and language advocate. She began translating for MotM in order to make the experiences of people in the migrant community accessible in German. Her goal is facilitate a conversation across and between languages and cultures about migration as a political issue and as a personal experience. She is based in Seattle, Washington, and enjoys everything her adopted home city has to offer, coffee, chocolate, and the occasional craft beer.
